50th Reunion: A Great Success!
Jerry Buchan has written: “The 50th class reunion is now history; it seems that most everyone there enjoyed the chance to see many of their classmates after several years apart. From the constant hum of conversations and laughter, we believe it was worth all the hours spent in planning and preparation; in fact, they voted by a show of hands to do this again in five years.” Indeed they did. And Bev and Jerry even volunteered to spearhead the next 5-year reunion.
I had a really great time, too. Only two regrets: 1/ I did not have enough time to sit down and talk with everyone there; and 2/ several people who had been very close to me were not able to come. Jerry reports that 79 classmates attended the reunion, with 57 guests attending. The guests included Mr. Don Goss and Mr. Nick Werling, both great teachers and friends of us all. We have 20 deceased classmates. That is an exceptionally high attendance rate.
However, if you are one of those important people who missed our class reunion, the Memory Book and the Reunion Photo of those in attendance are available. The Memory Book is $5.00 and the Photo is $5.00. The color photo is currently about 8 x 12. The big task will be getting names to go with the faces. If you want more than one of each item please note on your order and write your check accordingly.
